When Does $38B = $352M?

Q) When Does $38B = $352M?
A) When the R’s and D’s get together on a “budget compromise” - Typical Washington Math!

Front Page of the Post today:

A federal budget compromise that was hailed as historic for proposing to cut about $38 billion would reduce federal spending by only $352 million this fiscal year, less than 1 percent of the bill’s advertised amount, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Better Hide the All Spice!

Now they’re banning herbs! Can you believe this sh-t?

DEA bans chemicals used to mimic marijuana
The Drug Enforcement Administration on Tuesday banned for at least a year the chemicals used to make "K2" and "Spice," popular smokeable herbs that mimic the marijuana high.

So I have to ask... if I could get high on toilet paper – would they ban that too?

The American Dream

BEST MOVIE OF THE CENTURY (or two or three)

The American Dream is the best animated movie I've seen since cartoons were invented. Reminds me of those old ABC School House Rock specials like "I'm Just a Bill" - but better. Click here to view the trailer:

Republican Credibility = 0

From David Weigel - Cornyn and Thune Defend the Earmarks They Requested and Will Vote Against:

And I guess American's aren't fooled because they trust the R's even less than Obama - In poll, many still skeptical of GOP:

Why men can't jump on Wesley Snipes

I like this press release from the LP: http://www.lp.org/news/press-releases/wes-for-wesley-snipes

So let's review - Wesley paid his taxes but simply failed to fill out and mail a form, thus you go to jail? I would think the IRS would rather have your money and not the form. Lesson learned: mail in your stupid 1040 and don't pay your taxes and avoid going to jail.
