As of Friday here are the results:
Senate: 51-D/47-R/2-I
House: 240-R/187-D (8 too close to call - not that it matters)
So conclusion, I told you NOT to bet and I was right (on the Senate) - the House I totally flubbed.

Here is my prediction for the 2010 election as of Mon 11/1 at 11 am:
Senate: 49-D/49-R/2-I
OK I admit this is bold because I am not seeing too many pundits saying this. The only question is if the two independents will vote with the D's or R's. I assume the D's will retain control with at least one "I" plus Biden. Odds: Don't bet the house (so to speak)!
House: 228-R/207-D
Yep - thought I'd say D's just for the fun of it didn't you since I always go against what everyone else thinks. But, hey - you got to go with the flow sometimes especially if it is a tidal wave. I was going to say 223-212 but after the rally this weekend, I suspect even more people will go with the R's for no particular reason other than Fox News said this am that the early voters appear to be leaning a little more to the left than previously thought thus their (Fox's) base might get worried and come out in droves. Odds: Well here you can bet the house the R's will have it and I betcha (don't you just love Sara Palin? - NOT) they'll get between 223 and 228!
That's it for now - check back Wed and see how I did!
